What materials will I need for a beginner course?
You’ll need a clean vessel, soy or coconut‑soy wax, wick and sustainer, thermometer, scale, pouring pitcher, and your chosen fragrance or essential oils. We also recommend wick stickers, warning labels, and a stable workspace with ventilation.
Do you cover safety and IFRA considerations?
Yes. Every track includes dosage guidelines, allergen awareness, safe handling of hot wax, proper curing, and burn test protocols. We reference IFRA categories for candles and provide a documentation template.
How are classes delivered: online or live?
We offer Online, Live, and Hybrid formats. Live sessions are small group intensives with instructor feedback. Online modules include video lessons, worksheets, and office hours. Hybrid combines both for maximum flexibility.
Will I receive a certificate?
Certificates are awarded upon successful completion of assessments and submission of burn test documentation. Masterclass includes a portfolio review with detailed aromatics notes and performance criteria.
What is the difference between top, heart, and base notes?
Top notes are the first impression and tend to be brightest (e.g., citrus, green). Heart notes form the core (florals, teas, spices). Base notes provide longevity and warmth (woods, ambers, musks). Our courses train you to balance these families for both hot throw and cold throw.
Do you help with choosing wicks and vessels?
Yes. We cover wick sizing based on vessel diameter, wax blend, and fragrance load. You’ll learn to identify tunneling, mushrooming, and soot issues, then correct them through systematic tests.
Can I build a small brand from these courses?
Our Branding and Masterclass tracks include naming frameworks, sensory language, compliant labeling, and small‑batch operations. We do not offer financial or sales guarantees, but we help you present a credible, refined product line.
What support do I get after the course?
Alumni receive periodic office hours, update notes on materials, and guidance on troubleshooting. Priority email support is available at [email protected].
Do you offer custom team workshops?
Yes. We run private team sessions focused on product alignment and safety fundamentals. Contact us to scope dates, cohort size, and outcomes.
